ORGREAVE PARISH COUNCIL

This Parish is in the council area of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.

There are seven seats on the Council and one salaried member of staff (Finance Officer/Clerk).

The Council meets on the third Thursday of each month (excluding August and December) in Aston Fence Junior & Infant School, Sheffield Road, Woodhouse Mill, Sheffield, S13 9ZD. All meetings commence at 7:00pm and are open to the public. The agenda for the meetings is published on the website and put up on the notice-board which is based at the garage area on the junction of Rotherwood Avenue and Hail Mary Drive 5 working days prior to the meeting.  

All Council meetings have an open forum where members of the public may raise any issues, in addition they can email the Parish Clerk to request an issue to be included on the agenda at a future meeting. This website also includes all the statutory documents which must be available to the public under the transparency code
